Bourns Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) for RS-485 Ports is designed to meet industry standards on RS-485 port interfaces and to provide circuit protection in noisy and harsh electrical environments. For exposed lines that may see large and fast surges and where failure is not acceptable, a three-stage Bourns protection system is recommended.

TBU®-CA High-Speed Protectors

Bourns TBU^®-CA High-Speed Protectors feature low capacitance and MOSFET semiconductor technology to protect against faults caused by AC power cross, short circuits, lightning surges, and induction.
